Looney, you lost me there my good man! I hope that Urusula doesn't meet the same fate too! Unless of course you are deliberately doing it. Would not put it beyond your capabilities.

I would not know. It is however very simple. Just start your own blog or if you already have one, just let us all know so that we can come there and let steam off too.

Well said about the peach. That usually is the case with older men. They can only appreciate, cannot bite! You know, like dogs chasing cars, if they catch it, they would not know what to do with it!

Nice that someone calls me a spring chicken. Perhaps I should now have a re-look at myself and see if I can get myself an arm candy!

On the contrary, do feel free to take over my blog with your expansive musings. Longer the better. Lights up the place as Frank Sinatra used to say. Helen Croyden certainly seems to have got your hackles up. What did the poor thing do?

Wow! You are a chupaa Rustom alright! Don't make the mistake I made of under estimating Grannymar. Just ask her!

The whole toyboy phenomenon has been going on for a while. It began, if I remember rightly, with Britt Ekland, the former wife (and child bride) of the late Peter Sellers. After she was dumped by her long term lover, rock star Rod Stewart, with whom she had a very public relationship, for a younger, blonder woman, she hit back by dating and marrying younger, handsomer men. Then there was singer Cher (of 'Sonny and Cher' fame) who was in a similar position, being out of a relationship. These 'girls' got a great ego boost from getting attention from young, handsome men. They already had money, professional credibility (well, in the entertainment business, Britt was an actress and model, and Cher is a hell of a great singer and a terrific actress) but a girl needs more than that, I suppose. That was around twenty years ago, if I remember rightly.

A friend of mine once told me that men 'peak' at age nineteen and women do at 40 so the 19 year old man and 40 year old woman was a perfect combination. Well, it's ok I suppose provided you're not looking for something long term. Or else you'd have a 40 year old man and a 59 year old woman. Eventually. I think the relationship would have run out of steam by then.

I don't think Grannymar is mad after toyboys. She's young at heart and has an Irish sense of humour. She knows she's lovely, and has plenty to offer. But she's not one of these insecure people who needs 'arm candy' to prove herself! That's just a little joke of hers.

My husband is eight years older than me. I think age doesn't matter at all really. One way or the other.

Ursula, I gave an abstract impressionist response which merged together multiple streams of consciousness. Since I spend a lot of time out among the cougars (i.e. mountain lions) alone, defenseless and far from help, the word "cougar" immediately brings up a lot of emotions and memories.

Yes, the mysterious Maynard. When can we have hard evidence as to your charms - and your ability to ride a bike?
