Toilet Paper Can Create Great Conversation.
by Rummuser
This photograph must certainly be the answer to many questions, asked and unasked in Conrad’s post on All Point Paper. For those who have not already been there to enjoy the discussions there, I strongly recommend that you do forthwith.
I am not a man who believes in serendipity. I believe that everything that happens, happens for a purpose. Therefore, it did not surprise me at all to come across a fascinating blog post and the comments on it on another interesting end use for toilet paper. Please do visit this “Novel Idea / Bathroom Reading.”
I hope that between Conrad’s post and this one, we shall all indulge in great discussions on this fascinating subject and whatever offshoot subjects that may arise out of it, such as, it did on Conrad’s post about labels.

I am like the Andrex puppy here, all tangled up in the unravelled roll of paper. My thoughts are jumping all over the place. If I don't come back here my efforts might end up at my place tomorrow!
Some human beings are content to use leaves as toilet paper. Other human beings are conditioned to do everything in excess. People have reasons for each of their choices and overall lifestyle. Yet, not everyone is willing to open their senses and be aware of what they do, or why they think and feel as they do. When you are not conscious of reasons behind your behaviour, you are not in the mental place to be able to change deliberately and consciously in your best interest. Your view of what is good is limited by choice.
I don't want to be too graphic, but if you eat the amount of vegetables & fruits you are suppose to, you won't be on the potty long enough to read anything.
To think that toilet paper can instigate so many ideas. Amazing!

Fully agree. I don't read in the toilet. I am a vegetarian – by choice. I became one in 1998. Have not regretted it.
Liara, you lost me there! What do other human beings do in excess with respect to toilet paper?

I don’t think Liara was writing about people doing everything in excess in regards to toilet paper, but I can think of one thing. Here in the U.S. teens throw toilet paper rolls high, all over trees in the yards of ones they want to impress. The rolls fall down in streamers over the trees. Waste of TP unless you pull it down & use it.
I hope that you will elaborate on the Andrex Puppy theme and blog about it! I am eagerly looking forward to it.
Here in the US several years ago they came out with some John Wayne toilet paper but had to take it off the market – because it was too rough and tough and would not take any crap off anyone.

Phil, you had to come with that one. John Wayne APP indeed. There is a Marketing idea there for some enterprising fellow.
My daughter just bought toilet paper for her teacher as a year-end present, a “gag gift”. The toilet paper had $100 bills printed on it.
Soon I’m sure, ad agencies will distribute free toilet paper to restaurants and public restrooms. The toilet paper will have advertisements printed on them.

SPG, you should visit http://www.grannymar.com/blog/2009/07/03/a-room-with-a-loo/
I could never imagine toilet paper becoming a big conversation piece, but you never know what some people like to talk about. If you have unique toilet paper people could be interested in discussing it I guess.

It is still an on going debate in some of the blogs that I visit regularly.
Well, that’s the most inspiring post about toilet paper I’ve ever read!
Props heh heh!
