Gardener Needed To Water Plants.

My dear friend Anil, who reads all my posts but sends emails to me rather than comment as others do, has sent me this message and photograph.
“I need a small favor.
I am going away on vacation, and need someone to come over to water my plants while I am away.
The plants are mostly geraniums and begonias. In the hot weather they’ll probably only need water
twice a day. I’ll be gone only 21 days. I’ve attached a photo for your reference.
While on vacation will send you a post card.

He lives in Italy. He tells me that it is lovely weather there now. For obvious reasons, I cannot go. Can I get a volunteer? I can twist Anil’s arms for bed and board though you will have to cook yourself and arrange for provisions. And, before I forget, no hanky panky please.

I would guess he has Adobe Photoshop or the equivalent. It’s very good at creating miracles.

Totally amazing. The time it must have taken to put all the pots there in the first place! And if the place is rented (as I think most Italian appartamenti are) what does the landlord think about them?

I dont think the picture is real. It is Photoshopped and besides I believe no gardener would like to deal with this kind of garden. Thanks for sharing this, it made me laugh.

How about we load all of those plants into an automated greenhouse while you’re gone. The water will come on when needed, the plants sheltered from too hot or too cold, then you can put them back again when you return.
