Friendship In The Blogsphere.
By Ramana Rajgopaul. Filed in People, Relationships, Writing |Tags: Blogging, Friendship, Inspirational quotes and poems
I launched this blog on June 8 2008. Three months have passed. This is my 70th blog since then. I have had more than 2000 visitors to this blog. Some have become regular visitors and commentators, and have become my blog friends.
I am now truly and hopelessly addicted to blogging, visiting other blogs and commenting on quite a few of them.
If there is proof needed that blogging shrinks the world, this is it. The friends have come from all over the world. Some of them, hesitate to comment on the blog but contact me by email and exchange views.
I wanted to express my gratitude to all these new friends and went to inspiremenet to get an appropriate poem to convey my feelings and this is what I found:
FRIENDSHIP WISH
By Author Unknown
May there always be work for your hands to do;
May your purse always hold a coin or two;
May the sun always shine on your window pane;
May a rainbow be certain to follow each rain;
May the hand of a friend always be near you;
May God fill your heart with gladness to cheer you.
I recommend that you visit inspiremenet to get inspiring quotes, poems etc. I subscribe to their daily email which inspires me without fail.
Thank you dear friends.

Yes, Blogosphere was a beautiful world for sharing with each other. I can read your post although you are far from me. By the way, i “favorite” your site on Technorati.

I think the part of blogs and blogging that inspires me the most is its international flavor. I adore that I’m in touch with the thoughts and words of someone who lives in a completely different country and culture from my own….this is obviously going to have a vast and far-reaching effect on the world….and we are at the beginning of it!

@Jody: Yes, it is fascinating. I for one am totally stumped with the reach of the web and the kind of people who blog. Almost on a daily basis I find new blogs that interest me and comment on them. Some reciprocate and some at least acknowledge by email. What happens to me however is reinforcement of my belief that if we reach out people respond. This is what I suppose is meant by the statement that is more or less now a cliche – “The world has shrunk”!

Thank you for the very good wishes, glad to meet you thru blogging. Its true, blogging is a great way in meeting people in all walks of life. For me its therapeutical, it releases some tensions by expressing what and how we feel!

My dear friend, this is the beauty of internet. We can express and share opinions, emotions, and get good friends. In the nineties I joined many chatrooms, but I feel that blogging is a more complete activity, which allows you to better focus your thoughts.
You write when you can, when you feel to do it. Nontheless those words you type on your keyboard will last forever:)
