That is a note that my grand niece and Padmum’s grand daughter Uttara, sent on behalf of her sister Madhura and herself, to Anna Hazare.
Her obviously very proud parents have this to say about it.
“After writing the note she asked me how we could give it to Anna. Before I could think of a suitable reply, she had ‘offered’ her letter to the TV broadcast ‘Here Anna, my letter’” – Vandana her mother.
“If 5+ year old Uttara can be passionate and is hopeful that “the Governmint has stopt caroppthan” (corruption) then there is hope for my country!” – Jai her father.
This is the four of them.
That young lady Uttara, will go places. She is a delight to talk to – all questions and curiosity!

That she will. I only hope that by the time she reaches those places, the world will be ready for her.
Well, if Uttara’s letter adds to the campaign to stop caroppthan, and the government has a brainstorm and does a Singapore, then caroppthan will certainly be stopt!

Anna Hazare is fighting a good cause (and his fight reminds me of the good old days when people fought for the right things). He is an example. However, I must say that even I am worried about his health; but then again: sometimes somebody must sacrifice itself for the common good.

He has survived and has returned to his home. The process however will not stop. The machinery is in place to see that there is no delaying of introducing the changes that the public wants.

Corruption can only be reduced when the heart of the bureaucrats can be as pure as the heart of this child. Unfortunately, mediocre salaries compared to the demands of family life is usually the toughest temptations.

Yes, we are WWW. She is precocious. She is a hand full I can tell you.
Here in the U.S. people with the big bucks are corrupt too. The temptation doesn’t seem to be any less, but it’s not as noticeable in our everyday activities as it apparently is in other countries.

It is amazing how much of the movement’s goals have been assimilated by the young everywhere in India. They are able to understand the process. Perhaps not the words but the problems certainly.

Couldn’t stop smiling seeing the note and the little one who wrote it…makes me wonder why is innocence on the fall despite being such a wonderful thing!
