For 41 years, this human being has been one of my sources of enduring happiness. For 38 years he was for Urmeela too.
This was when he was just over a year old;

This is Ranjan about who I write often. Some readers have not seen a photograph of his and since, our delightful friend Ashish took a couple of fantastic photographs of ours together last week, I wish to share them with my readers.

Conrad and Grannymar, I hope that the two of you notice that I wear a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. The two black lines going over my shoulders hide a tote bag that is on my back.

Congratulations Ranjan! You managed to get the guy into a pair of jeans!
Ramana, not alone did I notice the trousers, but your eyes are visible too!
You both look like you were having fun.

That we were. We were among some good friends and Ashish was the icing on the cake with his camera that day.
this human being also troubled us a lot when we were kids:->

You did not read the post properly my darling. He is just one of the sources of enduring happiness. The other Rajgopauls and Natarajans that followed and who were troubled by that human being were also my sources of enduring happiness. When we next catch up with each other, we will get photographed together, and I shall post about you too.

Then shall I rewrite it as – this human being was also a source of enduring harassment as a big brother to us:->
I see where Ranjan gets his good looks– not from his father.
Great pics!

Most decidedly not. He looks like his mother and thank God for that. And also thank God that he does not look like the milk man!
Great pictures! Ramana you are looking quite thin! Whatever you are doing to lose weight is working!

I am doing nothing special Delirious. “Sitting quietly, doing nothing, spring comes, and the grass grows by itself.” ~ Zen Proverb.
I guess that I am in my last spring!
Thank you for sharing the younger and now-grown Ranjan with us! I can feel the love and respect between you. And the joy in your face, Ramana, is priceless!

Thank you Linda. The joy whenever I am with Ranjan, very rare now a days, is priceless too.
Good to see both junior and senior looking fit.

Hi Sandeep. Had you been with us, you would have put the two of us to shame you so and so.
Again, great pictures! Congratulations on the weight loss. I’m sure your hips are blessing you.

They are. They cannot wait to get on a dance floor. Perhaps this year’s May Queen ball at our club!
My man, you look marvelous! Now I need to get one of those Indian kilts.
I delight in the love and pride you take in Ranjan! As I do with my son.
And, a note to Ursula, for she once felt that there is no basis for this type of pride, but it is not the pride of our accomplishment. It is pride in their accomplishment of which we may have no part whatsoever. I am proud of many with whom I have no connection at all other than noting something marvelous they have produced in themselves or their lives.

Yes, Old Fossil. When I said that to you it wasn’t one of my better moments. Regretted it badly.

U, regret it no longer. A lot of healing has been shared between us since. I am glad.

I could not have put it better TOF. Thank you.
Looking good. We call that “tote bag” a backpack.

Actually, you are right. It is a back pack but till you pointed it out to me, I did not know the difference. It is generally called the tote bag by the younger crowd here. Now I shall start correcting them too. Privilege of the older generations!
Ranjan! My erstwhile comrade in crime! Its Good to see you!
Good pictures.
