The passport has been extended for one month? I’m not sure why/who this is ribbing.

I think it says the 31st of February.
Yes, the old British colonies use the month as the second numeral in dates unlike you in the US where it is the first numeral.

It is quite common in our part of the world where the passport is usually just a document needed to go to work in the Middle East. Happens when a contract for labour extends for some reason and the worker is not able to leave the country on time before the validity of the passport expires. It is done primarily to avoid paying the full renewal charges.
is the passport owner the consulate general of pakistan? !!!
or is that who is extending it for one month.
don’t you just love it when you have to explain the joke to people? LOLOL!!!
sorry! it is zooming right over my head. 😀

Please spend some time on it. You will eventually catch on to why I posted the picture.
So, the Pakistani clerk forgot February only has 28/29 days? lol Yikes…this is kind of worse than when the Portuguese clerk, in Mozambique, after writing my name classified my gender as masculine lol.

Max, was the clerk blind?
Well, you never know when you might want to travel on an imaginary day.

One month extensions are normally given to protected workers passports where the contracted labour is unable to leave the country before the expiry of the passport’s validity to lessen the financial burden of a full renewal.
or time travel – go to another era in the future, where the calendar has been re-jigged so there are always 31 days in everyone month!
I am one of the people who still cannot understand why the calendar must have some days of 30 days and some 31 with one with 28 days that becomes 29 every four years!
I’d say a head or two will roll for this. They must be mortified. I’ll refrain from laughing. I once typed someone’s death certificate which had a middle-aged person dead before they were born, thanks to a typing error. Luckily enough, the officer who signed the certificate got the backlash from the boss. I got off relatively lightly.

This is not a “typo” Maria. More a “hando”!
I suspect that the official who extended this passport had a little ‘Bhang’ with his lunch.
Since the official is based in Dubai, it is more likely to be Hashish.
Good one! Kudos to the people who noticed the date…I had to look closely.
